In addition to his career as a concert pianist and professor, Dr. Lovell is a piano technician. Not only servicing pianos for his own performances, he's worked for two Georgia Steinway dealers (including preparing the famous "Horowitz" Steinway for a concert), tuned for duo pianists Anderson and Roe, Van Cliburn competition gold medalist Vadym Kholodenko, Deutsche Grammophon recording artist Jan Lisiecki, as well as the Augusta Symphony. Owen also provides service to area colleges and universities for concerts and recording sessions.
